Partnership Is Part of the Model
TAP has always believed that thriving communities require strong networks. Our programs are strengthened by partnerships that connect residents to learning, employment, health, enrichment, supportive services, and emerging opportunities.
As TAP grows, we are building a diversified network of housing and community partners. We welcome collaboration with affordable and mixed-income housing developers, owners, housing authorities, property managers, local governments, employers, schools, colleges, funders, health partners, and community-based organizations.
For Housing Developers, Owners & Property Managers
TAP can design and operate resident services for a single community, a group of properties, a broader portfolio, or a place-based transformation initiative. Engagements can range from targeted workforce, youth, senior, or case-management programming to comprehensive resident services, Choice Neighborhoods implementation support, and technical assistance.
- Resident needs assessment and engagement
- Case management and resource navigation
- Workforce and economic-mobility programming
- Youth, education, and senior programming
- Partner-network coordination
- Community events and enrichment
- Outcome measurement, reporting, and continuous improvement
For Funders & Institutional Partners
TAP welcomes philanthropic, corporate, public, and institutional partners that share our commitment to stability, opportunity, lifelong learning, and community development. Funding and in-kind partnerships can support workforce development, education, youth enrichment, senior well-being, resident stabilization, community innovation, and place-based resident-services strategies.
Testimonials
In Our Partners’ Words
In a short time, TAP has changed lives in our Birmingham communities. Residents who were out of work are now employed. Others have enrolled in training programs and are building skills for careers they didn’t think were within reach. TAP meets people where they are, believes in them, and then does the hard work of connecting them to real opportunities. That kind of impact goes far beyond housing. It changes what’s possible for whole families, and we’re proud to have TAP as a partner.
Partnering with The Ascent Project during fall and summer break gave young people a chance to stay curious, stay active, and see themselves in STEM. TAP’s team brings real care for the families it serves and a genuine willingness to work alongside partners, which made it easy for STEAMsport to meet students where they are. We are proud to be part of what TAP is building in Atlanta.
“As a Choice Neighborhoods Initiative (CNI) partner, BJCTA values The Ascent Project’s commitment to turning resident needs into meaningful action. Through community engagement and our collaboration on transportation solutions, TAP has helped connect Smithfield Court residents to employment opportunities, voting access, and greater community participation. TAP is a responsive, solutions-oriented partner dedicated to removing barriers and expanding opportunities for families.”
